Here's a fairly standard implementation of Gridlock. We've used the SelectedCaption/SelectedItem/SelectedSubitem parameters to specify the items to select at startup. We've also set FullWidthMenuBar to false, so the top-level menu bar is sized to fit its contents.

The width of the applet is sufficient that scroll arrows are hardly needed: only the bar shown when you choose Menus then Menus 1 needs scroll arrows.
