Nexus Overview
Nexus is a powerful unlimited-level tree menu with many unique features in its functionality and styling. The simple features you'd expect from a tree menu are all there: any item can act as a link, and can contain further levels of items;  items can be scrolled upward and downward, and the menu intelligently adjusts its item positioning to display newly-revealed items when a node is expanded or collapsed. You can choose whether or not the menu should be animated, and whether links containing child-nodes should expand when clicked.

In addition to these basic requirements, Nexus offers much more:

  • Nexus is fully user-searchable. Using JavaScript connectivity in compatible browsers, users can run 'Find' and 'Find Next' methods to locate matching (or partially-matching) items.
  • Any item can use a custom text-color, which can optionally be inherited by its child nodes.
  • Separators can be placed on the menu to split items into logical groups.
  • Three scrollbar styles are available (flat, 3D, gradient), along with optional 'push-in' reactivity, and an auto-hide option.
  • Using our PageSync system, your pages can pass values to Nexus as they load to force Nexus to auto-select a particular item.
  • Colors and styles of items, item-selectors, and toggle-boxes can be set individually.
  • Mouse-wheel scrolling is supported when used in Flash Player plugin v7 or higher
  • Nexus supports our Satellite system, and can play sounds on expand, collapse and link events.
