PicStrip Overview
PicStrip is an animated image scroller that offers a wide range of control and interactivity options. PicStrip can display an unlimited number of images in a horizontal 'strip', scrolling them at your chosen speed. Options are included that allow the scroll direction and/or speed to change according to mouse movement, and scrolling can be paused if the user moves into the center of the strip (you can choose how wide this invisible area should be).Every image can link to a particular URL when clicked. The spacing between images, background color, selector color and many other options are editable. A semi-transparent gradient mask can be placed at each end of the applet, and images can optionally be tinted with any color when the mouse moves over them and/or show a selection border of any thickness. Images can also be made semi-transparent and fade up to full opacity when the mouse moves over them.
Finally, PicStrip can display panoramic images. If you allow the user to change scroll direction by moving the mouse toward one side of the applet or the other, the user can pan backward and forward through the panorama. PicStrip can also play MP3 sound effects on mouse click and release, and supports the Cool Focus Satellite system.
