Captions expand and collapse when clicked, displaying or hiding their item-panel, with an optional animation effect. XPanel can be used in "exclusive" mode, which allows only one panel to be exanded at a time, or you can allow all panels to be expanded and collapsed freely.

Each caption and item can have its own icon. Captions also allow the use of large icons which can be offset vertically to move them slightly above or below the caption. Captions support horizontal gradients, and their panels support vertical gradients.

XPanel also supports transparency in compatible browsers, MP3 sound effects, and the Cool Focus Satellite system.
